Being Me

As a child, i grew up third place to one boy and wedged between two girls. A typical middle class Nigerian family (at least that is what i think). i grew up amongst books, TV and video games. Not much of friends. i never went out much. My parents did not want me influenced by the outside world. Guess that did not work well. Thanks to my new found friend (TV) i got all they missed out. But my mom did well, forcing me to read books, she insisted i finish my assignments before watching TV, or playing games. Compromise molded me.

Something broke me. i feel i was broken, may be not as an animal but its wat i felt.

But still i love being me........
