Drugs Sex and Alcohol

Without all that Drugs Sex and alcohol, i can positively say that man can be a very miserable creature, thats if they are not already miserable with it. Through out my stay in University i have been privileged to be roommates with many different types of guys.In all that all that have had drugs or sex or alcohol show a sense of misery in there lives. Many people have the wrong ideology that many people do these things to celebrate, i on the other hand feel these things are a sign of serious depressions. How do i know these? because once upon a time in my life i have had to face my very our monster, i reached a breaking point in my life, i had to make choices, i had good friends and most of all God gave me the grace to come out of it..........
it might sound so easy but it's never as it seems, our monsters are not monsters but just big shadows of small creatures. Let me put it this way, during a game of Rise of Nations today, i was invaded by an enemy, plenty of tanks, men and all.
I lost a city to them, but drew up troops from neighboring cities, eventually i saved another city from invasion, but fear that my enemy had more troops resisted me from getting my old city back. when the game was over, i realized that he had no more troops left, none. i could have gotten my city back without even losing a man out of what i had left. but the shadow was
bigger than the creature itself. our obsessions, addictions, habits are all that. small monsters. The bible lets us to know that little foxes spoil the vine, not lions or Bears. these things we think are big are really damn right small...... and ridiculous......
